Tips  for Better Colon Health


Colon Health Tips for Achieving and Maintaining a Healthy Colon ​Drink at least 2 quarts of liquid a day, if not more. Anything less than 64 ounces (2 Quarts) of liquid a day does not give your fecal matter enough hydration to come out normally and easily. If your fecal matter gets too hard it will have a hard time leaving your body. Dehydration is the number one cause of constipation. The best liquids for you to drink are purified water (never tap water), herb teas, and diluted fruit & vegetable juices.   Eat food with more fiber in it.
There is no fiber in any animal food or any animal by-products such as any meat chicken, fish, eggs, dairy, cheese, or any other animal food. Fiber makes you eliminate by adding bulk to your stool. You want a high fiber program that consists of fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, grains, beans and legumes. Also try adding about a tablespoon of ground flaxseed in your daily diet. It is also in your best interest to cut out all processed foods.  Apples, Bananas, Pears, and Dates are fibrous and help the bowels move. Fresh, juicy organic fruits that have high water content are always better than dried, but even dried fruits can be helpful. Go on a raw food program for a few days and you will not have to worry about constipation at all. All movement stimulates peristaltic muscular waves, the muscular contraction of the bowel. Exercise will help get your bowels working again. Exercise is as easy as walking, running, yoga or swimming. You have got to get up and get moving.   Stress, fear, and anger are strong emotions that will cause people to get constipated more than eating ten pounds of cheese a day!! We have to learn how to release our stress.. Laugh more, do some deep breathing during the day, get a massage, develop positive emotional habits and learn positive emotional phrases like   "I love myself"   and   "I love my life."    You must learn that EVERYTHING is a blessing from God and even if it seems bad now, it is just because you cannot see the whole picture.   Everybody, no matter how good your bowel works, needs to regularly cleanse the bowel. You have to keep your bowel cleaned of any build up or old toxic debris so it will be healthy and continue to work well. As we get older and more sedate our bowels naturally slows down a bit. Keep on top of it and keep the colon functioning properly by following the above tips and maintaining colon therapy as part of your ongoing healthy lifestyle regimen.
